Demon Deacons limit Tar Heels to 35 percent shooting to remain unbeaten
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Wake Forest spent the last few years trying to recreate the magic of Chris Paul. They've finally done it -- by not trying so hard to become an exact copy of his final team.Still, a few similarities can't hurt -- like having yet another high-scoring point guard.
Wake Forest has started the season 14-0 for the first time since the 1980-81 season.
• Wake Forest's last win against North Carolina came on Jan. 15, 2005, the only other time the teams have played while both were ranked in the top 5.
• North Carolina had won 15 straight road games and 14 of its last 17 games against ranked teams before this loss.
• The Tar Heels and the Demon Deacons are the only ACC teams to return all of last year's starters.
