BOSTON -- Colin McIntosh scored 11 of his 17 points during a 23-7 run late in the second half as Vermont defeated Boston University 70-56 Wednesday night.

The Catamounts held BU without a field goal for the final seven and a half minutes to overcome an 11-point first-half deficit.

Vermont (10-6, 1-2 America East) became the last team in the conference to get a league win and sent BU (6-9, 1-2 AE) to its ninth straight regular season loss at Agganis Arena, its alternate home court.

Marqus Blakely, the defending America East Player of the Year, sat out the first seven minutes for disciplinary reasons but scored 15 points for the Catamounts and dominated the game inside in the second half. Mike Trimboli had 13 points and eight rebounds for Vermont and Nick Vier added 10 points and six rebounds.

John Holland led BU with 19 points and Corey Lowe had 16.
