INDIANAPOLIS -- Robert Jarvis scored 22 points as Oral Roberts withstood a second-half surge by IUPUI to beat the Jaguars 67-58 Thursday in the Summit League.
Robert Glenn had 24 points and Leroy Nobles 15 for IUPUI (9-8, 2-4), which trailed 37-25 at the break.
The Jaguars went on a 14-2 run to tie the game at 39 with 13:49 left, then used another run of 11-5 to build a 50-44 lead.
But the Golden Eagles came back with an 11-4 run capped by a Jarvis 3-pointer to take the lead for good at 55-54. Oral Roberts used free throws and a key 3-pointer by Stokes to stretch its margin to nine by the end.
Oral Roberts shot 51 percent from the field and made 15 of 17 free throws. The Jaguars shot 41 percent and shot 7-of-11 from the free-throw line.
