COOKEVILLE, Tenn. -- Lester Hudson had 29 points, 10 rebounds, seven assists and five steals in Tennessee-Martin's 83-72 win over Tennessee Tech on Thursday night.
After the teams played to a 34-34 tie at halftime, Tennessee-Martin shot 52.2 percent (20 of 35), while Tennessee Tech shot 34.4 percent (11 of 32) for the rest of the game.
Oladije Hay had 18 points and 10 rebounds and Marquis Weddle added 16 points for the Skyhawks (10-7, 4-3 Ohio Valley Conference).
Tennessee Tech (8-8, 2-4) had four players in double figures as D.J. Lindsay scored 15 points, Will Barnes added 14, Daniel Northern put in 11 and grabbed 10 rebounds and Zach Bailey tallied 10 points.
The Skyhawks scored 21 points off of 19 Golden Eagles' turnovers. In front of a national television audience on ESPNU, Tennessee-Martin scored 50 points in the paint and had 16 fast-break points.
