LOS ANGELES -- Arizona State outfoxed UCLA at its own defensive game.Using a matchup zone that forced the Bruins (No. 7 ESPN/USA Today, No. 9 AP) into a 13-minute stretch over the end of regulation and start of overtime where they managed one field goal, the Sun Devils (No. 15, No. 16) came away with a 61-58 victory Saturday.
• Arizona State snapped an eight-game losing streak to UCLA by pulling off the upset in Los Angeles. ASU's James Harden led all scorers with 24.
• The loss snapped a nine-game winning streak for UCLA against ranked Pac-10 opponents. It also ended a 15-game home win streak for the Bruins.
• Arizona State won on the road for just the seventh time in the past two seasons (7-8 overall), and beat a top-10 team on the road for the first time since knocking off fourth-ranked Stanford in 1998.
