HANOVER, N.H. -- Tyrone Conley sank five of his seven 3-point attempts and finished with 17 points, leading New Hampshire to a 68-59 victory over Dartmouth on Saturday night.
Alex Barnett -- the Ivy League second leading scorer -- managed only 3-for-10 from the floor. He finished with 16 points after hitting all eight of his free throws. Marlon Sanders added a season-high 14 points as Dartmouth (2-13) lost its eight straight.Tyrece Gibbs scored 15 points for New Hampshire (7-8) and Alvin Abreu added 13. Dane DiLiegro had 13 rebounds as the Wildcats claimed their fourth victory in five games.After New Hampshire scored seven straight points for a 24-16 lead, Barnett hit seven consecutive points to pull Dartmouth within 26-23. But Conley sank a 3-pointer in the final second to give New Hampshire a 29-23 New Hampshire halftime. The Wildcats opened the second half with eight straight points, five by Conley.
