MANHATTAN, Kan. -- LaceDarius Dunn tied a school record with nine 3-pointers while scoring 33 points to lead Baylor (No. 23 ESPN/USA Today) past Kansas State 83-65 Wednesday night.
Denis Clemente had 17 points for Kansas State (11-7, 0-4 Big 12), which has lost its first four conference games for the first time since the 1996-97 season. Dominique Sutton scored 12 points and Darren Kent added 11 for the Wildcats.
The nine 3-pointers by Dunn raised his team-leading total to 61 and tied the record set by David Hamilton in 1995. Dunn came within five of his career-high 38 points, which he scored against Texas Tech on March 8, 2008.
The Bears connected on 13 attempts from outside the arc.
