TEANECK, N.J. -- Rob Robinson scored 20 points to lead Robert Morris to an easy 74-40 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Saturday night.
Jeremy Chappell finished with 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and six steals for the Colonials (13-7, 8-1 Northeast Conference), while Dallas Green added 10 points and also pulled down five rebounds.
Cameron Tyler had 14 points for the struggling Knights (4-15, 4-5), who committed 26 turnovers and made just 36.8 percent of their shots.
Robert Morris was in command for most of the game, jumping out to an 8-2 lead and closing the first half with a 12-4 run -- featuring six points by Robinson -- to take a 38-23 lead at the break. The Colonials then maintained double-digit leads throughout the second half and closed the game with a 15-3 run.
Robert Morris also won the battle of the boards, outrebounding FDU 32-27.
