OXFORD, Ohio -- Andy Robinson led the way with 16 points and Buffalo made a big first-half lead stand in a 76-64 victory over Miami (Ohio) on Saturday.

With the victory the Bulls (12-5, 4-1) took over sole possession of first place in the Mid-American Conference's East Division. The Bulls played without Calvin Betts, the team's leading rebounder and second-leading scorer. He was replaced by John Boyer.

Rodney Pierce added 13 points, Max Boudreau came off the bench to score 12 and Titus Robinson had 11 for the Bulls, who shot 50 percent from the field and made 5-of-8 3-pointers.

Michael Bramos paced Miami (10-7, 3-2) with 18 points. Antonio Ballard added a career-high 15 points and Tyler Dierkers had 14.

The Bulls built a 20-point lead in the first half before the RedHawks closed the gap to 56-55 with 7:42 to play. But Buffalo closed on a 20-9 run.
