TULSA, Okla. -- Marcus Lewis matched his season-high with 26 points and had a game-high nine rebounds to help lead Oral Roberts past Southern Utah 67-51 on Saturday night.
Lewis scored 14 points in the first half for the Golden Eagles (10-11, 8-1 Summit League), who took a 34-24 lead into intermission.
Oral Roberts had a 44-30 advantage with 15 minutes left when Dave Marek scored the first five points of a 7-0 run that cut the Thunderbirds' deficit to 44-37.
After the teams traded baskets, Quinney fouled out on Jarvis' 3-point play that increased the Golden Eagles' lead to 49-39 at the 9:39 mark.
The Thunderbirds never got any closer as Oral Roberts went on a 9-0 run capped by a basket by Lewis.
