ALBANY, N.Y. -- Ryan Rossiter played a flawless game, finishing with 18 points and 12 rebounds, as Siena beat Niagara 82-65 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference basketball on Saturday.
Rossiter made all seven of his field goal attempts and all four of his free throws. Edwin Ubiles led the Saints (15-5, 9-0) with 20 points. Alex Franklin scored 15 points and Kenny Hasbrouck added 13.Siena broke out early, leading 24-11 at 10-minute mark in the first half, and never trailed. Niagara (14-6, 5-3) went on a run and cut the deficit to 28-25. But Siena pushed the lead back to 42-36 by the break.Benson Egemonye led the Purple Eagles, finishing with 18 points. Austin Cooley came off the bench to score 13, Anthony Nelson finished with 11, and Bilal Benn scored 10.Siena shot 60 percent from the field while holding Niagara to 40 percent.
