Will Harris added 20 points, including five 3-pointers, as Albany (12-8, 4-3 America East) dropped the defending league champs for the eighth time in 12 meetings following two losses last year.

Brian Connelly added 10 points and nine rebounds for the Great Danes, who shot a season-high 53.7 percent from the floor.

On the strength of a 17-4 run, the Retrievers went ahead 57-56 midway through the second half. But Albany answered with consecutive 3-pointers from Anthony Raffa and Harris to retake the lead for good.
