PHILADELPHIA -- Scott Rodgers scored 17 points to lead Drexel to its sixth straight win, 64-47 over Georgia State on Wednesday night.
Drexel went on a 19-2 run in the first half, and a layup by Samme Givens extended the Dragons' lead to 28-12. Drexel went on an 11-1 run in the second half and led 45-22 with 12:03 remaining.
The Dragons led by as many as 23 points and the advantage never dipped below 11 in the second half. The Dragons outscored the Panthers 26-6 in second-chance points and 21-6 from the free throw line. Rodgers shot 10-for-11 from the line.
Georgia State was slowed by 15 turnovers.
