HAMDEN, Conn. -- Jeremy Goode led all scorers with 19 points to pace Mount St. Mary?s to a 60-42 win over Quinnipiac on Thursday.

It was the seventh straight win for The Mount (12-9, 7-3 Northeast Conference). Quinnipiac (8-12, 4-6) has lost four straight and nine of its last 12.

The Bobcats raced out to a 10-2 lead but The Mount quickly tied the game at 10-10. Mount St. Mary's then took the lead at 21-20 and never trailed again. The final score was the largest lead of the night.

Quinnipiac was led by Justin Rutty with 12 points and 16 rebounds and James Feldeine had 11 points.

Jean Cajou and Kelly Beidler both added nine points for Mount St. Mary?s which led 29-23 at the half.
