HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Mark Veazey scored 17 points, all in the second half, and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead Navy to a 75-64 win over Colgate Saturday night.
Navy started the game on an 11-2 run, but Colgate (6-14, 2-5) rallied to tie it at 15 after Ben Jonson hit back-to-back jumpers. The score was tied at 32 at the half.
The Raiders shot 31 percent from the field in the second half and were 1-for-12 from beyond the arc. Navy made 16 free throws in the second half to seal the game.
For Colgate, Jonson and Gyawu each had 16 points.
