BOWLING GREEN, Ohio -- Nate Miller scored 21 points and had 13 rebounds as Bowling Green pulled to a 68-61 home win over Western Michigan on Wednesday night.

The Broncos (7-14, 4-4 Mid-American Conference) kept it close early in the game, but Bowling Green went on an 11-1 run, holding Western Michigan to just one free throw over more than eight minutes. Miller started the run at 11:16 with a jumper and a rebound. He ended it with a 3-pointer, his only of the game.

The Falcons (12-9, 5-3) went into the break ahead 35-26 and were up by as many as 12 in the second half.

Otis Polk added 16 for Bowling Green, and Brian Moten came off the bench to score 11.

The Broncos were led by David Kool's 14 points and Shawntes Gary's 11.

The teams were nearly even on shooting from the field, but Bowling Green went 20-of-26 on free throws while the Broncos hit 11-of-19. Western Michigan scored on eight 3-pointers, twice as many as the Falcons.
