NEW ORLEANS -- Kevin Sims scored 18 points and Robinson Louisme recorded a double-double to lead Tulane in a 73-64 win over East Carolina on Wednesday night.

Kris Richard added 14 points for the Green Wave (10-13, 4-6 Conference USA), who snapped a three-game losing streak. Asim McQuenn finished with 13 points, and Louisme scored 10 points and tallied 13 rebounds.

Brock Young led the Pirates (12-11, 4-6) with 21 points, and Chris Turner had 11. Young was 3-for-3 from beyond the arc.

The Pirates led 18-17 with 5:36 left in the first half, but Tulane went on a 16-3 run from that point to take a 33-21 halftime lead. The Green Wave led the rest of the way.

Tulane shot 47.2 percent from the field (25 of 53) in the win compared to just a 37 percent mark (17 of 46) for the Pirates.
