NEW YORK -- Kevin Bulger made a 10-foot jumper in the lane with 4.2 second left to lift Columbia to a 60-59 victory against Harvard on Saturday.
Bulger missed a 15-footer from the right side with 10 second left but Harvard knocked the rebound out of bounds, giving Bulger and the Lions another opportunity.
Jason Miller led the Lions (10-12, 5-3 Ivy League) with 19 points, including nine in the second half when Columbia rallied from a 10-point deficit.
K.J Matsui had 15 points, all in the first half on 5-for-6 3-point shooting, and
Noruwa Agho finished with 11.
Jeremy Lin led Harvard (10-12, 2-6) with 19 points, and
Drew Housman added 13 points.
Lin scored nine points as the Crimson opened the second half with a 14-3 run that pushed their lead to 47-37 with 15:09 remaining.
Agho scored five during the Lions' closing surge that tied it at 57 with 2:19 left.
The Lions have won five of six.
