FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. -- Anthony Johnson scored 16 of his 24 points in the second half as Montana beat Northern Arizona 73-54 Saturday night.
Jordan Hasquet had 12 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists for the Grizzlies (16-9, 10-3 Big Sky) while
Ryan Staudacher had 12 points and six assists.
Shane Johannsen led Northern Arizona (7-17, 4-9) with a career-high 17 points while
Zarko Comagic added 14.
Montana opened the game with a 10-0 run only to see the Lumberjacks answered with an 11-0 spurt.
Neither team was able to pull away until early in the second half when Grizzlies forward
Jack McGillis sparked a 16-5 run over 5:19 to give Montana a 45-34 lead.
Northern Arizona closed to 45-37 with 10:31 remaining but got no closer.
