SANTA BARBARA, Calif. -- Chris Devine scored a career-high 29 points, which included two tie-breaking free throws with 7.3 seconds left, to give UC Santa Barbara a 68-66 victory over Cal Poly Saturday night.

Devine made 10-of-16 shots and scored six of the last eight points for the Gauchos (10-13, 4-7 Big West Conference). Paul Roemer got the other two on a game-tying baseline jumper with 47.1 seconds left.
