PRINCETON, N.J. -- Tyler Bernardini scored 18 points, including 9-of-11 free throws, as Penn defeated Princeton 62-55 in overtime Tuesday night.
Zack Rosen added 14 points for the Quakers (8-13, 4-3 Ivy League).
Trailing 51-46 with 1:56 to go in regulation, Princeton (9-11, 4-3) closed with a 5-0 run to send the game into overtime. A 3-pointer by Douglas Davis and a pair of free throws by Zach Finley with 23 seconds left got the Tigers even.
In the overtime, a 3-pointer by Rosen gave Penn a 57-53 lead with 1:57 to play. The Quakers converted five of six free throws down the stretch to clinch the win.
Finley led Princeton with 12 points and a game-high 15 rebounds. Patrick Saunders added 11 points for the Tigers.
