MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Antonio Weary scored 11 points for Central Michigan, which went on a 15-1 run late in the game to beat Northern Illinois 63-44 on Wednesday night.

Jacolby Hardiman, Marcus Van and Robbie Harman added 10 points each for the Chippewas (8-16, 5-7 Mid-American).

Central Michigan led 27-24 at halftime and was ahead 42-36 when Weary sank a layup with 5:59 remaining to start a run that put the Chippewas ahead 57-37 3:14 later. Central shot 48 percent (12-for-25) from the field in the second half to 33 percent (7-for-21) for the Huskies.

Sean Kowal shot 4-for-5 from the field, scored nine points and grabbed eight rebounds for Northern Illinois (7-17, 3-9). Sean Smith added nine points and Mike DiNunno eight.
