    STONY BROOK, N.Y. -- Michael Tyree scored a game-high 25 points to lead Stony Brook to a 66-54 win over Boston University on Wednesday night.

    Muhammad El-Amin added 11 points, Demetrious Young had 10 for the Seawolves 15-12, 7-7 American East), who led 41-29 at the half.

    John Holland's 19 points topped the Terriers (14-12, 9-5). The Terriers have lost 3 straight.

    Jake O'Brien had 11 points and Scott Brittain added 10 for Boston University.

    Tyree's 3-pointer gave Stony Brook to lead for good at 9-8 at 17:02 of the first half. Chris Martin gave Stony Brook a 41-26 lead late in the first half with another 3-pointer.

    A layup by O'Brien got the Terriers within 45-44 at 13:18 of the second half. Young and Tyree had back-to-back baskets to give Stony Brook a 49-44 lead as it pulled away.
