HAMDEN, Conn. -- Jeremy Baker led Quinnipiac with 20 points in a 78-62 win over Fairleigh Dickinson on Thursday night.
Bryan Geffen added 14, including three 3-pointers for the Bobcats (12-14, 8-7 Northeast Conference).
Justin Rutty had 13 and
James Feldeine 12.
The Knights (7-20, 6-10) had 17 points from
Cameron Tyler and a double-double from
John Galvin, who scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. The Bobcats shut down
Sean Baptiste, who scored 37 points in a 72-68 win over Quinnipiac on Jan. 3. He scored only 11 points.
Quinnipiac built a double-digit lead after a 9-0 run in the first half, and led 44-27 at halftime. They pulled ahead by 23 points, 50-27 at 17:53 of the second half, and led by as many as 26 twice.
The Bobcats outshot Fairleigh Dickinson 41.2 percent to 14.3 percent from 3-point range and outrebounded the Knights 44-38.
