Columbia 70, Brown 57

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- Patrick Foley scored a career-high 21 points and Noruwa Agho added 17 to push Columbia past Brown 70-57 Friday night.

Foley made 7 of 10 field goal attempts and 4 of 4 from the line for the Lions (11-12, 6-3 Ivy League). K.J. Matsui added 14, including 11 in the first half. Columbia shot 54 percent from the field to 40.8 by the Bears.

The Lions finished the first half with a 17-4 run for a 27-21 edge at the break. The Bears (7-16, 1-8) closed to within five with 9:06 left in the second half but the Lions fashioned an 11-4 spurt to ice the game.

Matt Mullery paced the Bears with 21 points, six rebounds and four blocks that gave him Brown's single-season record with 43. Peter Sullivan added 19 points.
