AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. -- Marcus Walker scored 20 points as Colorado State ended a 19-game conference road losing streak with a 71-66 victory over Air Force Saturday.
Andre McFarland added 13 points for Colorado State (9-18, 4-9 Mountain West), which last won on the road in conference play on Jan. 17, 2007 at TCU.
Andy Ogide had 10 points for the Rams, who also snapped a three-game losing streak.
Andrew Henke led Air Force (9-17, 0-13) with a career-high 29 points. The Falcons have lost 14 in a row and eight in a row at home.
The Falcons grabbed their biggest lead, 56-51, on two free throws by
Matt Holland. But the Rams stayed close and McFarland's 3-pointer with 5:06 remaining put the Rams ahead 64-63.
Holland missed a trey with seven seconds left and
Arin Dunn sealed the win with two free throws.
