KINGSTON, R.I. -- Marquis Jones' layup at the buzzer gave Rhode Island a 93-91 overtime victory over Dayton on Wednesday night.

The Rams (21-8, 10-4 Atlantic 10) were led by Jimmy Baron, Keith Cothran and Kahiem Seawright, who each scored 19 points. Delroy James added 18, while Jones finished with 13.

Dayton, which fell out of the Top 25 earlier in the week, dropped its second consecutive game. Marcus Johnson led the Flyers with 21 points and Chris Wright added 17.

Dayton (23-5, 9-4) shot 55.2 percent from the field to the Rams' 51.7 percent.

Rhode Island led 52-44 at halftime, but the Flyers tied the game at 78-78 with 27 seconds remaining in regulation on a layup by London Warren.

Johnson tied the game again at 91 on a 3-pointer with 12 seconds to go, but Jones followed with his game-winner.
