LEWISTON, N.Y. -- Niagara's Bilal Benn recorded 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the team past Siena, 100-85, Friday night in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at the Gallagher Center.
Niagara (23-7, 13-4) has now won nine of its last 10 games. Rob Garrison added 19 points while Benson Egemonye scored 13 points. Tyrone Lewis netted 12 points while Kashief Edwards and Anthony Nelson each scored 11 points.
Niagara shot 55 percent (21-of-38) from the field in the first half, highlighted by five three-point field goals. The team used runs of 11-4 and 10-0 to build a 48-31 halftime lead.
Siena had won the past seven regular-season meetings.
