HAMDEN, Conn. -- James Feldeine scored 25 points to lead Quinnipiac over Central Connecticut State 69-55 in a Northeast Conference game Saturday.
The win gave Quinnipiac (14-15, 10-8) a season split with the Blue Devils and locked up the fifth seed in the NEC tournament. It was the first win at home for the Bobcats in the series in the last 11 meetings.
Bryan Geffen added 12 points for the Bobcats and
James Johnson had 11 as Quinnipiac erased an 8-point first half deficit and took a 33-31 lead into intermission.
The Bobcats never trailed again.
Shemik Thompson and
David Simmons led CCSU (13-16, 8-10) with 12 points each and
Ken Horton had 11.
