KATY, Texas -- Eddie Williams rebounded a shot and drove the length of the court to hit a layup with 13 seconds left to help top-seeded Stephen F. Austin hold off fourth-seeded Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 63-60 in the semifinals of the Southland Conference tournament Friday.

The play gave SFA a 61-58 lead. After the Islanders' Shamar Coombs hit two free throws with eight seconds to play, Josh Alexander answered with two free throws for SFA one second later for the final points.

Kevin Palmer missed a desperation 3 at the buzzer for the Islanders.

Matt Kingsley scored 26 points for the Lumberjacks (23-7), who will play Texas-San Antonio for the conference championship and an NCAA tournament berth Sunday.

Coombs led Texas A&M-Corpus Corpus (18-15) with 19 points.
