Scheyer scores 22 and Blue Devils' 12-2 run opens up 13-point lead in second half
ATLANTA -- The boo birds couldn't keep Duke from reaching another ACC final.Duke, winners of seven of the last 10 Atlantic Coast Conference tournament championships, earned a shot at another title despite coming to Atlanta as a No. 3 seed.Jon Scheyer scored 22 points and Duke rode a 12-2 second-half run to beat Maryland 67-61 on Saturday in the Atlantic Coast Conference tournament semifinals.
• The Blue Devils advanced to their 10th ACC championship game in the last 12 years and swept Maryland in three games this season.
• Kyle Singler and Gerald Henderson combined to shoot just 23.1 percent (6-for-26) from the floor, but Jon Scheyer's 22 points offset their shooting.
• Henderson scored just eight points, ending a streak of 24 straight games in double figures.
• Eric Hayes' 20 points were one short of his season-high 21. He has scored 20+ in two of Maryland's last three games, the only times he's reached that mark this season.
