MADISON, Wis. -- Bo Ryan made a point to Jon Leuer, sending him to the bench for most of the first half.Then Leuer made his points in the second half.Playing without their leading scorer on the floor, Wisconsin (11-2) still managed to build a big lead on No. 15 Ohio State. The Badgers (No. 23 AP) maintained the defensive pressure in the second half, pulling away to a 65-43 victory Thursday in the Big Ten opener for both teams.
• Wisconsin won for the eighth straight time at home against the Buckeyes.
• The Badgers also extended their win streak in conference openers to seven games, the longest active streak in the Big Ten.
• Dating back to last season, Ohio State has lost four of its last five conference road games.
