POCATELLO, Idaho -- Led by 18 points and five assists from Bobby Howard, Montana State rallied to defeat Idaho State 70-63 Sunday.
The Bobcats (8-6, 3-1 Big Sky) squandered a 17-point first-half lead and a 10-point second-half edge before rallying to win.
The Bengals (4-11, 1-2) trailed 51-41 with 10:47 left but responded with an 18-3 run to take a 59-54 lead with 6:21 left. The scored was tied 59-59 with just under 5 minutes left before Montana State pulled away.
Idaho State outrebounded Montana State 38-25, but the Bengals had 15 turnovers to the Bobcats' seven.
