CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Anthony Allison scored 18 points as Southeast Missouri ended a 14-game Ohio Valley Conference home losing streak with a 78-66 victory over Jacksonville State on Monday night.

The Redhawks (5-9, 2-2) won their first conference game in Cape Girardeau since edging Austin Peay 121-116 in triple overtime on Jan. 29, 2008.

Trenton Marshall led the Gamecocks (5-8, 1-2) with 37 points, the most by a Jacksonville State player since Charles Burkette scored 37 against Athens State in 1991, a span of 522 games.

Marshall scored 28 of his points in the second half as the Gamecocks attempted to rally from a 36-23 halftime deficit. After trailing by as many as 16 points, Jacksonville State pulled to within 67-64 with 3:45 to play, but Southeast Missouri responded with a 6-0 run to put the game away.

Cameron Butler added 16 points for the Redhawks.
