CHAPEL HILL, N.C. -- Just about everybody is healthy again for No. 9 North Carolina -- and that includes coach Roy Williams.And once those 3-pointers finally began to fall again, the Tar Heels started feeling even better.
• North Carolina trailed by four at the half, but outscored Virginia Tech 44-26 in the second half to get their fifth straight win over the Hokies. UNC opened the second half on a 15-6 run to take control.
• Ed Davis had 20 points and 11 rebounds, both team highs, for his ninth double-double this season and fourth in his last five games. Davis had just three double-doubles last season.
• The Hokies lost their fifth straight game against ranked competition.
• Virginia Tech was led by Malcolm Delaney's 26 points, 20 of them coming in the first half. It's the fifth time this season Delaney's scored more than 25 points in a game.
