• Jermaine Beal led the Commodores with 25 points as they won their 10th straight game overall.
• Vanderbilt shot 57.1 percent from behind the arc. The Commodores got their fourth straight conference road win and first at Tennessee since Jan. 8, 2005.
• J.P. Prince (22 points) scored a season-high, but the Vols suffered their fourth loss in their last 27 home games vs. conference opponents. The loss also snapped a four-game winning streak at home vs. Vanderbilt.
