PORTLAND, Ore. -- Tanner Riley scored 15 points, all in the first half, to lead Portland to a 75-60 victory over UC Davis in the second round of the Athletes in Action Classic on Saturday night.

Eric Waterford and Jared Stohl added 11 points each for the Pilots (2-0), who hit 62 percent of their shot attempts and never trailed in the game.

The Pilots used a 21-3 run that pushed their lead to 37-11 with four minutes left in the first half. After that, Portland coach Eric Reveno began experimenting with his lineup and UC Davis gradually began to eat into the lead.

The Aggies (0-2) had some hope when they scored eight unanswered points midway through the second half to cut Portland's advantage to 59-44, but the Pilots maintained a comfortable lead.

Eddie Miller led Davis with 11 points while Joe Harden added 10.
