SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Ryan Sypkens scored 16 points and Joe Harden added 13 to lead UC Davis past Sacramento State 61-54 Tuesday night.

Eddie Miller also scored in double figures for the Aggies (2-4), finishing with 12.

Duro Bjegovic had 10 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Hornets (1-3) while John Dickson and Antoine Proctor also scored 10 each.

UC Davis trailed 26-25 at halftime before pulling away. The Aggies shot 53.8 percent in the second half when they led by as many as 11. UC Davis finished the game shooting 49 percent while Sacramento State shot just 32.7 percent.

The Hornets' three losses this season have been by a combined 13 points.
