COLLEGE PARK, Md. -- Jordan Williams had 24 points and 13 rebounds, Adrian Bowie scored 14, and Maryland bounced back from a miserable first half to beat Elon 76-57 Friday night.

The Terrapins (5-2) trailed by 11 points with 10 minutes elapsed before closing to 34-31 at halftime. Maryland's only lead before intermission was 1-0.

The momentum turned when the Terrapins opened the second half with a 9-3 run to take a 40-37 lead. After Roger Dugas scored on a drive for Elon (2-3), Bowie drilled a 3-pointer and Williams added a dunk and a follow to put Maryland up 47-39 with 12:37 left.

Bowie capped the 10-0 run with a three-point play, giving the Terrapins their first double-digit lead.

It was 54-47 before Williams made a three-point play to spark a 12-0 spurt that put Maryland up by 19 with 4:53 to go.

Jordan scored 20 points in the second half on 8-for-10 shooting and recorded his fifth double-double in seven games.

Jack Isenbarger led Elon with 23 points and Dugas had 13. The Phoenix shot only 33 percent from the field and went 9 for 33 from beyond the arc.

Elon, which lost by 19 to Wake Forest last week, is 34-123 against current members of the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Isenbarger scored nine points and Dugas had eight to stake Elon to a 20-9 lead. Milking most of the 35-second clock on virtually every possession, the Phoenix made eight of their first 14 shots, including four 3-pointers.

It was 31-24 before Maryland freshman Terrell Stoglin connected from beyond the arc and Bowie added two free throws to get the Terps to 31-29. After Dugas hit a 3-pointer, Bowie scored on a follow just before the half.
