ORLANDO, Fla. -- Marcus Jordan scored 18 points as Central Florida dominated nearly every statistical category in a 84-48 route of Alabama State on Saturday.

After falling behind 10-5 less than four minutes into the game, the Knights (5-0) went on a 35-5 run and took a 40-15 lead with 3:39 left in the opening half. UCF led 43-23 at halftime.

After the break, the Knights picked up where they left off in the first half as they outscored Alabama State 30-6 en route to a 73-29 lead.

Ivory White led the Hornets (1-5) with 12 points and was their only player to score in double figures.

UCF outscored the Hornets 42-20 in the paint, held a 42-27 rebounding advantage and scored 27 points off of 16 Alabama State turnovers. The Knights shot 30 for 53 from the floor (56.6 percent).

Jordan, the son of NBA legend Michael Jordan, shot 6 of 8 from the floor, including 4 for 6 from 3-point range.
