PHILADELPHIA -- Ruben Guillandeaux scored 12 points off the bench, leading a second-half comeback as La Salle defeated Delaware State 65-61 on Monday night.

The Explorers (5-2) trailed 39-31 at halftime despite shooting 14 for 19 from the floor (73.7 percent) and posting a 21-12 rebounding edge.

La Salle pulled in front 62-61 on a Guillandeaux 3-pointer with 1:05 remaining and Tyreek Duren added three free throws down the stretch to seal the victory.

The Hornets (2-2) led by as many as 14, 47-33, with 17:18 left to play, but the Explorers ended the game on a 32-14 run -- fueled by Guillandeaux's 10 points over that span.

Desi Washington led Delaware State with 17 points on 6-of-8 shooting, including 5 for 6 from 3-point range.

Steve Weingarten scored 11 points for La Salle. Jerrell Williams, Aaric Murray and Earl Pettis each added 10 points.
