SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Cameron Rundles had 18 of his 24 points in the first half as Wofford cruised to a 92-70 victory over winless North Carolina-Greensboro on Thursday night in their Southern Conference opener.
Wofford led 46-34 at halftime and opened the second half on an 11-4 run. The Spartans (0-6) could get no closer than 13 the rest of the way, trailing by as many as 29 before the Terriers pulled their starters with just under 4 minutes to go.
Aloysius Henry led UNC Greensboro with 18 points.
Wofford shot 54.2 percent from the floor (32 of 59) and 59.1 percent from 3-point range (13 of 22) while hitting 15 of 18 foul shots.
The Spartans shot 45.5 percent from the floor (25 of 55) and 36.4 percent from beyond the arc (4 of 11).
