Stu Douglass rallies Michigan past Harvard

    Associated Press

ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- Stu Douglass scored 16 of his 19 points in the second half as Michigan rallied to beat Harvard 65-62 Saturday.

The game marked Harvard coach Tommy Amaker's return to Michigan, where he was in charge from 2001-07.

Zack Novak finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Wolverines (5-2) while Darius Morris added 13 points.

Keith Wright had 18 points and 12 rebounds for the Crimson (5-2).

Harvard led by seven at halftime, and by as many as 12 early in the second half, but Michigan got back into the game behind three 3-pointers from Douglass.

Novak scored twice to put Michigan up 58-52 with 2 minutes left, and after a Harvard basket, Douglass hit another 3-pointer.

Morris later missed the front end of a 1-and-1 with 26 seconds left, and Brandyn Curry's layup got the Crimson within 62-59 but they couldn't pull any closer.
