Justin Graham's late spurt lifts San Jose State to win

IRVINE, Calif. -- Justin Graham scored 21 points, 13 of them in the second half, to lead San Jose State to an 85-70 victory over UC Irvine Saturday night.

Chris Jones had 15 points and 11 rebounds, and Wil Carter 12 points and rebounds for the Spartans (5-2). Adrian Oliver scored 18 points and Keith Shamburger added 12.

Mike Wilder led the Anteaters (4-4) with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Daman Starring had 13 points, Darren Moore 12 and Patrick Rembert 10 for UC Irvine.

UC Irvine led 13-4, but San Jose State got rolling, went ahead for good at 18-17 and led 34-27 at halftime. The Spartans' biggest lead was 17 points in the final minute of the game.
