ELON, N.C. -- Noah Dahlman scored a career-high 37 points as Wofford came back from a 10-point second-half deficit to defeat Elon 75-69 on Saturday night.
The senior forward broke the game's ninth tie with a layup and free throw to give the Terriers (4-5, 2-0 Southern Conference) a 69-66 lead. His jumper made it 71-66 with 33 seconds remaining.
Dahlman scored the game's first eight points, and Wofford led 36-26 with 3:54 left before halftime, but the Phoenix (2-5, 0-2) closed the half with an 8-0 burst.
The Phoenix still led by 10, 56-46, after a 3-pointer by Long with 8:34 left.
Long finished with 21 points and Spradlin 18 for the Phoenix.
Dahlman needs 17 more points to reach the top 10 on Wofford's career scoring list.
