NEW YORK -- Steve Frankowski scored 12 points and Columbia defeated Wagner 77-71 on Tuesday night.

Brian Barbour and Noruwa Agho each added 11 points for the Lions (5-4), who have beaten Wagner five times in a row. The Lions also have won four of their past five games overall.

Columbia led 52-38 with 12:20 to play in the game, but Wagner went on an 18-7 run to cut the lead to 59-56 with 4:03 remaining on a layup by Josh Thompson. The Seahawks would get no closer.

Key free throws down the stretch helped Columbia maintain its edge. Barbour made 7 of 8 free throws for the game, including making all six attempts in the final 1:33. It was another close call for the Lions, whose previous three games had been decided by a total of eight points.

Chris Martin scored 24 points to lead the Seahawks (4-4). Tyler Murray added 18 points and Thompson had 11.
