BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -- Alex Johnson hit 7 of his 10 3-point attempts Tuesday night, scoring 23 points to pace Cal State Bakersfield to a 75-56 victory over Idaho State.
The Roadrunners (5-4) also got 17 points from Donavan Bragg, including 3 of 4 3-pointers, as the team went 11 of 19 (57.9 percent) from long range. Rashad Savage had a double-double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, and Stephon Carter scored 13 points. Carter also collected four steals, running his streak of consecutive games with a steal to 19 dating to last season.
The Roadrunners held a huge shooting advantage at 27 of 50 (54.0 percent) to 20 of 55 (36.4 percent). And Bakersfield's 3-point prowess contrasted sharply with Idaho State, which hit just 1 of 12.
Idaho State held a 36-29 rebounding edge.
