The Mastadons never trailed after jumping out to a 14-3 lead in the opening five minutes. Toledo got a pair of 3-pointers from Shunnar during an 8-0 run to cut that lead to 14-11, and were still within 38-34 at halftime after shooting 54.5 percent in the opening half.
IPFW built the lead to 14 points on a layup by Jeremy Mixon to make it 59-45 with 9:52 left in the game, and coasted from there.
