NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Kenny Moore had a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds and Tennessee State routed LeMoyne-Owen 84-48 on Sunday.
Patrick Miller led five Tennessee State players in double figures with 14 points. Robert Covington and Jacquan Nobles scored 13 points each and Wil Peters added 10 for the Tigers (4-6), who won their third straight.
Tennessee State scored 37 points off of 23 turnovers and scored 26 points in the paint. The Tigers outrebounded the Magicians 47-31 and scored 21 second-chance points.
Division II LeMoyne-Owen (1-4) made just 9 of 31 field goals (29 percent) in the first half and trailed 55-22 at halftime. The Tigers made 16 of 17 free throws (94.1 percent) before the break and finished shooting 88.6 percent from the line (31 of 35).
Calvin Stoudenire led the Magicians with 11 points.
