Coastal Carolina 125, Thomas More 70

CONWAY, S.C. -- Desmond Holloway and Anthony Raffa scored 21 points each to lead Coastal Carolina to a 125-70 blowout victory over Thomas More on Monday night.

The Chanticleers (10-2) were 47 of 73 from the floor (64.4 percent), including 13 for 23 from 3-point range (56.5 percent).

Chad Gray and Danny Nieman scored 14 points apiece, Sam McLaurin added 12 and Mike Holmes and Dexter Moore 11 for Coastal Carolina -- winners of eight straight.

The Blue Rebels (5-3) were outrebounded 56-24, outscored in the paint 62-22 and were 9 of 31 from behind the arc (29 percent).

Todd Krohman led Thomas More with 17 points off the bench.

The win marks the third time this season that Coastal Carolina has defeated a Division III school by at least 39 points. The Chanticleers defeated Piedmont College 112-52 in their season opener on Nov. 12 and blew out LaGrange College 79-40 one day later.
